| Shlomo Shalev is a board member in
several high tech companies and serves as chairman of
the board of Netformx. From 1998 to 2005 Mr. Shalev
was Senior Vice President Investments at Ampal (NASDAQ:
AMPL) a diversified holding company. In this capacity
Mr. Shalev was involved in all investments and activities
of the company as well as managing the high tech sector,
which included more than 40 companies. During his tenure
Mr. Shalev was a board member in many private and public
companies including: BreeZcom, Mirs Communications,
Granit Hacarmel (TASE), PowerDsine (NASDAQ) Arel Comm.
(NASDAQ). Prior to joining Ampal, between 1994 and 1998,
Mr. Shalev served as the Israeli Economic Consul to
the U.S. Northwest Region, based in CA. During the years
1992-1994 Mr. Shalev was the economic advisor to the
director general of the Israeli Ministry of Industry
and Trade. Prior to that Mr. Shalev was an economist
at Dead Sea Works and an adjunct professor at Ben Gurion
University. Mr. Shalev holds a BA degree in Economics
from the Ben Gurion University and MBA from the University
of San Francisco.
