Yossi Sela, Director
Yossi Sela is a Managing Partner at Gemini Israel Funds,
a provider of early stage financing to technology companies
in Israel or related to Israel. Mr. Sela joined Gemini upon
its formation in 1993 and during 1995 served as CEO of Ornet
Data Communication Technologies Ltd., a Gemini portfolio company
in the field of high-speed internet work switches until the
company was acquired by Siemens AG. From 1990 to 1992, Mr.
Sela served as Vice President, Marketing at DSP Group (NASDAQ:
DSPG), a U.S./Israeli company specializing in proprietary
Digital Signal Processing for consumer and telecommunication
applications. Mr. Sela was responsible for the development
of marketing strategy, and setting directions for the sales
force in the U.S., Europe and Japan for the Telecommunications
product line. He also raised capital for the Israeli spin-off
of DSP Group, which later became DSP Communications, Inc.
(acquired by Intel). From 1985 to 1989, Mr. Sela worked at
Daisy Systems Inc. where he was Director for CAD development
and PCB Marketing Manager Europe. From 1974 to 1984, he served
in the Israel Defence Forces, reaching the rank of Major,
where he was responsible for the definition and development
of systems for communication applications. Mr. Sela holds
a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion-Israel
Institute of Technology and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
