Amnon Shachar, IXI's President, has
recently served as Corporate VP Global Resources and
a Member of the Executive Staff in ECI Telecom, responsible
for multiple business entities and budget centers including
professional services, logistics, supply chain, IT,
administration and more – managing all together over
1,000 employees.
Prior to ECI, Mr. Shachar was a Senior Vice President
and GM of Polycom Israel for 5 years. Amnon is also
a retired Full Colonel from the Israeli military, in
which he served, among other positions, as Deputy Chief
of one of the elite IDF Intelligence units, and as Chief
of Technical Center.
Mr. Shachar holds a B.Sc. in electronics Engineering
from The Technion, Haifa, and an Executive M.B.A from
Tel Aviv University.
